ARTS hours guideline 15-26 October 2009
The ambiance of ARTS is designed to be casual and informal. There will be no opening night festivities, daily lectures, or speeches. The hours for each dealer will be decided on an individual basis. If you wish to see a particular dealer at a specific time an appointment is advised.
The following schedule is a guideline. If you plan to come earlier or stay later than these listed hours a certain percentage of the dealers will probably be open for business. If you arrive within the guideline hours most, if not all, of the dealers will be available.
15-17 October 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
18 October 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
19-22 October 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
23-25 October 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
26 October 11 a.m. until the last guy standing.
We wish you a grand welcome and an enjoyable visit.

The San Francisco Bay Area Rug Society
will sponsor a visit to the Occidental Carpet Palace and Gardens of renowned Bay Area collector, Jim Dixon. The date for this event in support of the inaugural Antique Rug and Textile Show will be the 21st of October, a Wednesday, from 12 noon onwards.
Due to a lack of response and RSVP's, SFBARS has been forced to cancel plans to provide fee based minibus transport to Jim's house. All folks planning to attend the event are requested to carpool and when possible to offer rides from the Capri Motel to dealers and other interested ARTS guests. Light refreshments will be provided, but pot luck contributions of snacks and beverages are most welcome. There will be no fee for this event. We prefer that guests remove their shoes within the house and that visitors refrain from smoking and red wine inside. For more information or driving directions please write to
