The 1st show ended 26 October 2009 after 11 good days with lots of sales, satisfied visitors and happy faces.

The Antique Rug & Textile Show 2009 (ARTS) was a co-operation between 35 antique rug and textile dealers and Jozan Magazine.

Main organizer of the show in 2009 was the international antique rug & textile dealer Michael Craycraft, Galerie ArabesQue. Bertram Frauenknecht, Gallery Frauenknecht, was co-organizer.

This international show was held in San Francisco October 15-26, 2009 at Motel Capri, 2015 Greenwich Street, San Francisco, California.

There were a broad range of antique rugs and tribal textiles on display and special events for rug and textile enthusiasts and collectors. 

The exhibitors came from all over the world.

Special events
Dan Miller co-author of Tibetan rugs "auspicious symbols" will be hosting an exhibit of Charles Gays Tibetan saddle rugs and other early pieces from the Robert Dunn collection. This will coincide with the launching of the 2nd edition of this book published on blurb.com during the first 4 days October 15-18.
